World Travel & Tourism Council reveals Sri Lanka as a Safe Travel Destination
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) represents the global private sector of Travel & Tourism, with a mission to ensure the sector is seamless, secure, safe, inclusive and sustainable. We raise awareness of Travel & Tourism’s value, not just as one of the world’s largest economic sectors, but also to the many communities and travellers enriched through their experiences.
Popular holiday destinations Sri Lanka and Grenada, are among the latest destinations to begin using the world’s first ever global safety and hygiene stamp, launched recently by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) .
Recognising the safety protocols delivered by way of the government of Sri Lanka at the side of requirements mandated through Sri Lanka Tourism development Authority (SLTDA) to ensure the protection of home and global travelers, vacation spot Sri Lanka became recently endowed with the world travel and Tourism Council’s (WTTC) safe Travels stamp.
While organising self belief amongst tourists looking on the island paradise as a favored vacation spot to tour amidst the pandemic, the secure Travels stamp may even permit them to recognize homes and agencies that diligently follow globally streamed fitness and hygiene protocols aligned with the WTTC’s safe Travels Protocols.
The growing list of endorsements have come from many major holiday and city destinations around the world, with the holiday destinations of Sri Lanka joining other summer sun destinations such as the ever-popular Alicante and Benidorm in Spain.
